Federico Ferrarese Chartered Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist info@federicoferrarese.co.uk PSYCHOTHERAPY Italian and English My Approach I am skilled in face-to-face, remote and telephone methods Skype account: federicoferrarese72 Remote CBT sessions (online)

Problem

If you experiencing one of the following symptoms: feeling depressed, battling with anxiety, panic attacks or a phobia

Solution

Most emotional problems arise from faulty thinking, and the remedy is found in corrective actions. CBT is problem-focused, and it aims to help you get better in the long term, which is done by changing your unhealthy beliefs to their healthy counterparts. That is the reason why CBT is based on the understanding that by changing how we think about things (our cognitive processes), we can change the way we feel (our emotions), and the way we react (our behaviour).

Recovery

It can help us learn how to overcome negative emotions and behaviours. The intent is to: help people clarify their emotions, behaviours and goals; identify the unhealthy beliefs that are at the heart of their emotional problems and sabotage their goals; Dispute them and replace them with their healthier version in order to get better through consistent and constructive action; finally, to generalise the change to other areas of life.

Fees

Choose from face-to-face, online or telephone and if you prefer, you can mix your sessions depending on what you need at any given time. Each therapy session is the equivalent of 60 minutes. Pricing per hour is mentioned below.

In addition to the option of self-funding, I am registered with the major health insurance providers and can offer psychological therapy to clients who have access to private medical insurance.

£70

online sessions (self-funding clients)

£80

face-to-face sessions (self-funding clients)

Cancellation Policy

I require 48 hours (two working days) notice if you need to cancel an appointment, i.e., Monday appointments need to be cancelled by the previous Thursday. You will be charged for any missed appointments, or appointments that are cancelled without appropriate notice.

Appointment slots are valuable, therefore your advanced notification of any cancellations is much appreciated.

Payment Options

My preferred payment method is BACS, though I also accept cash or cheque payments. If you choose to pay by Paypal, please note that Paypal charges a 3.4 % + 20p fee, hence the slightly higher amount for Paypal payments.
